A middle-aged man is increasingly concerned that he is still single. The longer he thinks about this, the more he experiences his life as meaningless. For work, he has to go on a business trip to supervise the introduction of a computer system, and he decides to spend the Christmas season there with a colleague who is also single. In his frantic efforts to find a life partner, he roams all kinds of nightclubs, but the women present prefer to dance with a younger man.
