An exploitation version of Papillon and a kind of tropical Escape from Alcatraz. As expected, a cheaply put-together adventure film with plenty of violence and some nudity. It's fair to say that this adventure film isn't boring and occasionally features some amusing nonsense. In the end, things get out of hand. Of the cast, only Jim Brown, a versatile athlete and actor, is still somewhat known.
