Orson Welles took big risks in 1939 when he went to shoot film number 281 for the RKO studios. This film was titled 'Citizen Kane'. Welles was heavily opposed by influential figures such as publisher William Randolph Hearst (on whom the film is based). But it was not always easy on the set.
