"All the world takes a holiday !"
Jack Martin is an American entertainer who works on the French Riviera. Among other things, he will perform an imitation of the industrialist Henry Duran. Even his beautiful wife finds him very convincing. Duran has to go to London one evening on business. That same evening, however, an important dinner is also scheduled in his own home. Jack is persuaded to play the part of Duran at dinner. Things threaten to spiral out of control when he is confronted by several of Duran's mistresses.
