""Jesus help me, cause man won't.""

Arrested on suspicion of child rape, Clarke Davis is detained in a men's prison awaiting trial. "Short Eyes" is slang for the crime he committed and is considered by inmates to be the "lowest offense" one can commit. His fellow inmates, a collection of rapists, murderers, junkies and pimps, make his stay behind bars a living hell. Filmed in a pseudo-documentary style and shot at the once illustrious, but now closed, "Men's House of Detention" in New York.
