Runaway Virus plot
During a flu epidemic in 1918, 30 million people died in South America. Suddenly a woman from Guatemala shows up with similar symptoms. The carrier, Rita, is on her way to Los Angeles ignorant of the fact that she is leaving behind a trail of death and destruction. Brilliant doctor Jenny Blanchart and her team of flu experts must quickly find Rita and a cure before Los Angeles and the rest of the world fall victim to this deadly disease.
