"A KISS and HISTORY IS MADE AT NIGHT"
Tired of his wife Irene, steamship owner Bruce Vail wants to divorce her without giving her a single cent of his money. He therefore devises a complicated plan that should make it seem as if she is cheating on him with the driver. Paul Drummond accidentally foils his plan and things get even more complicated when Paul and Irene are attracted to each other, Bruce kills the driver and tries to make Paul pay for it.
