I found this to be a gripping film by Ozon. A tension that is mainly subcutaneous and you immediately feel that there is something strange going on with this newcomer. Not in the least in her strange behavior and I had expected more elements to emerge, but that remained limited to the toothbrush and the strange chatter.

The ending is therefore not necessarily surprising, but shocking. A bit of eroticism too, Ozon does that more often (not always) to add an extra mysterious pigment to the whole. A film that feels especially uncomfortable and at least captivated me from start to finish.
