Ijung Gancheob plot
Lim Byun-ho is a North Korean intelligence officer based in East Germany. He betrays his own department in order to transfer to South Korea. When he arrives in South Korea, he seems to receive a friendly welcome, but he is soon transferred to a prison where he is interrogated using brutal investigative methods. Lim, a hardened spy, resists the torture and is released. Still loyal to the North Korean regime, he continues his espionage activities in South Korea.
