"If love takes no prisoners, somebody forgot to tell them."
When her husband Max abandons her, American housewife Grace Beasley goes to London to attend the funeral of her beloved pop idol Victor Fox. At the funeral she meets Dirk, Victor's friend, who is eager to find Victor's killer. Grace manages to convince Dirk to go to Chicago with him to look for the killer.
