This is one of those movies that pretty much clarifies everything at the end. Of course it is surprising and captivating, although in fact no questions are answered because the viewer doesn't ask any. At the end there is just a lot of new information that surprises.
Fortunately, there is Philippe Noiret, even more than his co-star Michel Serrault, who still generates a certain amount of interest with his witty and original performance, but as a whole this film lacks conviction and power.

Noiret and Serrault deliver top-notch acting in the French style, which makes this film an interactive whole in which politics versus the legal order is brought to the fore. The personal hunt makes the plot increasingly interesting. Legrand and Sterling provide la beauté feminine. Topper.
