WiseGirls plot
"These waitresses are about to turn the tables on The Mob."
Meg wants to start a new life and goes to the big city where she becomes a waitress at an Italian restaurant. She is immediately taken care of by her colleagues, but does not feel very at home there. She suspects that the restaurant is owned by the local mafia and she doesn't like it. But when she nurses a gunshot wounded mobster, she also becomes personally involved with the mob. With all its consequences.
