"The agonizing pause between the honeymoon and the marriage!"
George Haverstick, a Korea veteran, marries Isabel, whom he met in a hospital. Much to Isabel's dismay, the marriage does not go as she had hoped. The honeymoon to Florida turns into a nightmare and during Christmas they visit George's war buddy Ralph Baltz, who has recently been abandoned by his wife. Finally, the two couples get together and talk about each other's marital problems
