Yatsuhaka-mura plot
Tatsuya Terada has lived and worked in Tokyo all his life. At one point, he is approached by an old man from his hometown, where Tatsuya has never been since he was a baby. They meet, but suddenly the old man dies. Tatsuya then goes to his hometown to attend the funeral. Once there, he is confronted with the mysterious past of the village, which after its arrival appears to be under the influence of a curse cast by eight samurai centuries ago.
