Kate Welles is a writer for a women's magazine. She gets the assignment to write a piece about the ideal relationship. She cannot draw from her own experience, as she feels that she has never had a good relationship. However, flashbacks show that she once encountered Adam, who was hopelessly in love with her.

Terribly bad film, in which there is really nothing good to be found.
Bought this to get the twenty euros at bol.com, so that no shipping costs had to be paid, but it would have been better to pay the two euros afterwards, because this film is not exactly an asset.
Famke is normally my personal favorite actress, but here she doesn't do much. She clearly didn't have any comedic timing, nor did she know how to make a voice-over somewhat interesting, or at least well-running.
Furthermore, there is no chemistry at all with her male counterpart, which is quite important in a romantic comedy.
Film doesn't start out hopeful, but goes out like a candle.
Bad: a 1 for the effort!

I'm not a comedy fan, but I just gave it a try! Not a great one, but a feel-good movie. Occasionally quite comical or hilarious moments and also a few more serious scenes that were not so cheerful. Jansen and Favreau play a nice couple. I don't know if I would have fallen for Adam, but hey, you never know how a cow catches a hare.......
