A reasonable concept that is obviously borrowed from the famous cartoon, even though director Brett Bentman only sporadically adopts some fitting ideas and costumes. Devanny Pinn in a Jasmine-like appearance is of course no coincidence, but essentially, what is copied is primarily what fits well within a horror framework. In that respect, the title is a major rip-off, yet Bentman manages to present it all in an entertaining way. The house, in particular, is remarkably atmospheric, despite the lack of seized opportunities. The acting is otherwise of the lowest standard, as are the effects, but thanks to a number of unpredictable plot twists, it manages to be not entirely unpleasant to watch. Projects of this kind have been worse.
