Hidden in the Dark plot

Maya is a patient in a hospital in the mountains of Slovakia. She possesses abilities that allow her to sense emotions and events in space and time. This gift makes her a target for the local police, who employ her to track down missing persons. The latest case involves an eight-year-old girl who has been kidnapped. Unfortunately, Maya is unable to find her in time, and the child is found dead in the woods. This shatters Maya both mentally and physically.
