The Christmas Detective plot

Kate Bennett has left her beauty pageant career behind and is pursuing her dream of becoming a private investigator. When a local art gallery is robbed just before its grand opening, she finally gets a chance to prove herself. Together with Detective Derek "Oak" Oakley, who is also her ex, she does everything she can to solve the case before Christmas and prove she's truly up to the job.
