Two Scoops of Italy plot
Chef Danielle Turner faces a gastronomic dilemma and risks losing her restaurant unless she devises a new menu that will impress her investor. Desperate for culinary inspiration, she travels to Ostia Antica, an ancient Roman village in Italy. Danielle soon meets Giancarlo Donati, a charming local gelato maker facing a gelato crisis of his own. Giancarlo introduces Danielle to the flavors, culture, gelato, and other charms of the picturesque town, and together they motivate and encourage each other. As Danielle falls in love with Italy, she discovers that it might not be the only thing that captures her heart.
