The story of Private Doll determined to survive his time in the military. Divorced from his new wife after 8 days of marriage, he suddenly decides that he will not blindly follow the orders of his superiors, but instead think for himself first. Then the battle of the Guadal Canal begins in which Doll shows his mettle.
