Watched it last night. The film really surprised me. Originally presented, and visually and cinematographically excellent. The music also really drew me into the story. It felt almost a bit 'Stephen King-esque'... Strange characters, metaphors, and what he thinks are conveyed in the subtitles.
I also found Herman's acting believable as a man torn apart by grief, trying to forget his emotions and past actions. The demons from the past have haunted him for years, and he even considers suicide because that is less bad than resisting the demons.
So I don't understand the low rating at all, but that might be my own fault that I have a different taste in movies.
Highly recommended as far as I'm concerned!
