Bajo las Banderas, el Sol plot

Alfredo Stroessner, who came to power in a coup in 1954, ruled Paraguay with an iron fist until 1989 with his Colorado Party. A characteristic of other dictators is the personality cult created in the media around him, who is praised to the skies in songs. The ruthless repression of citizens who fought for social justice remains largely unseen in propaganda.
