Supergirl (2026)

Disappointing film about a girl whose family has been murdered who enlists the help of Supergirl. A better introduction would not have been out of place here. I also would have preferred to see Supergirl in the real world instead of this sometimes almost Star Wars-like setting. The story failed to captivate me anywhere, and at times it is a rather boring superhero movie.

After Superman, who was good but seriously overhyped, it's Supergirl's turn.

The film also has some problems, but I found it more enjoyable to watch.

Will there actually be another big, top-notch DC film, or will we have to settle for this level?

Superman was childish.

Supergirl is drunk.

But then I'll just take Supergirl.

Milly Alcock is truly fantastic, but it's a shame about the story, which is incredibly weak.

The film starts well, however, but then suddenly turns into a revenge film in the style of Guardians of the Galaxy.

Still 3.5 stars, most for Milly Alcock & it was just an enjoyable watch. She can't help it that they can't write a decent story at DC.

Next is Clayface, I am curious about that. But the hope that DC will ever perform at a top level is as good as gone.
