Fuze plot
A World War II bomb is discovered on a construction site in central London. The army and police do everything they can to avoid casualties and initiate a mass evacuation. However, upon closer inspection, the bomb turns out to be of more recent origin. The question then becomes: who planted it there and why?

A reasonably strong thriller. The story is put together quite well. The execution is quite successful. The first half hour is rock-solid and nerve-wrackingly suspenseful. As a viewer, you also have no idea which direction it is going. It is a shame that they fail to maintain this momentum. In the second part, the film devolves into a somewhat standard crime movie; not bad, but a bit run-of-the-mill. The plot twist also doesn't quite land. The ending feels somewhat superfluous and abrupt. The acting is otherwise solid, with a fine performance by James. Furthermore, the film is visually well-presented. 3.5
