Since the mysterious death of her husband [Neil Green], paranoid Molly Price [Elissa Dowling] has been searching for a safe place to stay with her teenage daughters Avery [Holland Havarah Elizabeth] and Penelope [Sanea Loutsis]. At a yard sale, Penelope picks up a Ouija and decides to use it to contact her father's spirit. Of course, it doesn't end well. The screenplay isn't a total disaster, but Hawkins' direction and acting are. So bad that it's occasionally funny.

Predictably bad plagiarism that benefits somewhat from young cast members making a genuine attempt to show their passion, but they are severely held back by director Jason Hawkins and his lack of innovative drive. The threats, in particular, look terrible. Instead of the substandard CGI in Ouija: A New Beginning, we simply have some kids in gray makeup supposed to pass for ghosts. The general acting of the adults (primarily Elissa Dowling was unbearable to watch) and the shockingly poor visuals also fail to make this a memorable concoction. Now, you might expect that from a film with Ouija in the title, but sometimes the inspiration runs out.
