"Hearts Reach New Heights."
Brooklyn is the business reporter for Channel 5 KSET News Seattle. Tired of the formality of business news, she is considering switching to culture or lifestyle reporting, which would give her more freedom. Brooklyn may get her chance when the station's lifestyle reporter has a last-minute emergency. Her boss, Mary, decides to assign Brooklyn to cover the annual five-day Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque. There she meets balloon pilot Jared, who offers romantic balloon rides but is himself closed off from love.
