Warren Ellis has been one of Nick Cave's infamous Bad Seeds for over thirty years. He has spent the past decades on international stages with his iconic violin and matching beard growth. He is less well-known as one of the initiators of Ellis Park, a shelter for abused and smuggled animals. Not only do the animals find a safe haven there, Ellis himself also finds peace and new sounds in the shelter in Sumatra.

Australian violinist Warren Ellis made his name with "Dirty Three" and later as the regular musical partner of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Ellis's music dominates the soundtrack as he and Kurzel reflect on their career and visit Ellis Park, an animal sanctuary in Sumatra where he is a patron.
