Soft Leaves plot
Yuna's parents divorced when she was little. Her mother went back to Japan to start a new family, leaving her in Belgium with her father. When he falls into a coma after an accident years later, her mother returns, now with a half-sister who Yuna barely knows. Yuna has a hard time with this, but when her father seems to recover, she has to face her feelings and find her own place in the torn family.

After her parents' divorce, the now eleven-year-old Yuna [Lill Berteloot] stayed with her father [Geert van Rampelberg] in Belgium. When he ends up in a coma as a result of a brain hemorrhage, Yuna's brother [Kato Defoort] returns from Bochum and later her now remarried mother [Masako Tomita] arrives with Yuna's half-sister Otoka [Sara Hamasaki]. Not much happens anyway and Weyenberg fails to get any emotion out of Berteloot, which gives us little insight into her true feelings and little reason to sympathize with her and her family.
