L'Avance plot

Aliou, a young student at Les Beaux-Arts in Paris, sells a painting of his deceased mother to a famous collector for 3,000 euros. Upon delivery of the painting, he is taken on a journey where he will bear the burden of the money he has just earned.

Seen at Go Short Festival. A nice short in which the protagonist tries to find a balance between work as an artist and family, and his struggle to be loved. Ends a bit abruptly, but I do like how it touches upon the themes and lets them float a little.
