The Kitchen plot

We follow a dozen staff members in the kitchen of a London restaurant during a busy morning. Many of the staff have emigrated from continental Europe. The kitchen is full of tension, heated tempers and difficult relationships between the various employees. One of them is Peter, the German chef, who is in love with waitress Monica. He constantly asks her to leave her husband. Stress in the workplace, an unhealthy environment, bickering between staff, petty theft and rather excessive drinking by more than one member of staff take place here.
