The Olympic Games Held at Chamonix in 1924 plot

Documentary about the 1924 Winter Olympics. In 1921, the International Olympic Committee agreed to hold a Semaine des Sports d'Hiver ("International Winter Sports Week") in 1924 as part of the Olympic Games, which were to be held in Paris that year. This International Winter Sports Week in Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc, was a great success. It was decided that from then on it would be held every four years, separately from the Summer Games. This Winter Sports Week thus became the first Winter Olympics.
