Fargeat is hot right now. And with this short it is immediately clear where she got the inspiration for The substance. There may be 10 years between the two projects, but it still hasn't let her go. Not illogical, because this "try-out" had potential, but needed to be further developed.

Very nice concept and also socially critical with regard to the beauty ideal and the self-confidence of people about themselves. Enjoyed watching. Would not be out of place in a Black Mirror episode, for example.
