Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight plot

In the final days of what will become known as the Republic of Rhodesia, the already fragile truce between white landowners and black workers is about to break. In a few days, elections will be held and the republic will officially be called Zimbabwe, leaving white colonialism behind. Young and sharp-witted Bobo lives on her family farm. Her mother Nicola carries a machine gun to protect her family from would-be terrorists who could be lurking anywhere.
