Retake plot
A high school student suddenly decides to make a movie during summer vacation and enlists the help of her friends. During the making of the movie, old friendships are tested, secrets and crushes are revealed, and new friendships blossom.

Very nice.
It's strongly reminiscent of Japanese dramas made around the turn of the century. Very calm, quiet, and tight in presentation, yet with a unique twist. You have to be willing to take your time, and you shouldn't expect too much drama. If you can manage that, it's mainly a wonderful way to daydream, and also a bit of a challenge.
The acting is top-notch, visually very pleasing, and the soundtrack is limited but effective. And the second part has a nice structural twist that adds quite a bit. It's not exactly the future of the genre, as it's primarily a film rooted in the cinema of 25 years ago, but as a fan, I can appreciate it occasionally.
