Barron's Cove plot

"Revenge is a deadly place."

Thirty-something Caleb Faulkner is a hitman working for his uncle. One day, his son Barron is brutally and tragically killed. Grieving Caleb discovers that a certain Alex was nearby when Barron died and searches for answers. When he kidnaps Alex to find out who is responsible for Barron’s death, he unleashes a massive manhunt that is spearheaded by a powerful politician: Alex’s father.

Trauma drama in which Hedlund delivers a superb performance. Family constellations linked to bloodline, with the word 'family' as the central theme. The contradictions in this drama are well portrayed, linked to ego, power, and a lack of self-insight. People do strange things just to belong, which can also be a cry for attention due to continuously functioning in survival mode. Surprisingly good, and in terms of structure and finale, revealing about power and influence in the political sphere. 4.1*
