Iris has long found a good but complex friend in Walter, a charming and brilliant author. When he suddenly passes away, it is up to Iris to settle his estate. This includes three ex-wives who each have their own stake, his literary legacy and his Great Dane Apollo. A good film about a woman who takes in a dog after the death of her boyfriend and his owner. A beautiful film about grieving, with a pleasant, calm pace. The interaction between the dog (a Great Dane) and Naomi Watts is both funny and touching (without either going too far).

The slowest and also most boring film of the year, I think. Not that it's bad, per se, but there's just so little going on. How many pages did the writers have to write this script on? I'm already struggling to find a hundred words for it.
Yeah, the dog is funny, Watts is not bad at all, and omg Murray is suddenly old - I imagine he thought a short cameo was enough.
