The Truce Hurts plot
The dog Butch convinces Tom and Jerry that there is no reason to fight and that they should all sign a peace treaty. Initially they even help each other, but then a steak falls off a truck. The trio can't decide how to divide it, which threatens their truce.

You could almost look for more behind it. With dog, cat and mouse making peace until a delicious piece of meat brings out the egos again. So soon after the war it seems somewhat symbolic for the different countries. But we will keep it as a nice animation in which it once again appears that one of the rare supporting characters, Spike (aka Butch) is doing well in the series around Tom & Jerry.
