Straat Vol Leven plot

Many Amsterdam streets are lined with houses from which the Germans removed entire families during the Second World War and deported them to death. In this documentary, director Nathalie Toisuta introduces a new way of commemorating these war victims. She places people of the same ages and gender in 2024 as representatives of the lives lost in front of those buildings.
