Content-wise strong, but too long for what you get in return. It won't be due to the acting performances, because they are rock solid. That also applies to the way the story is established. The resolution is nice, but still comes a bit too late.
Difficult, but I can't get higher than a 3 out of 5. Read here a little more extensively why.

30-year-old top swimmer Lin [Sanne-Samina Hanssen] prepares herself with her trainer [Nabil Mallat] for an attempt to swim to the English coast faster than ever before. During the day she works in a clothing store and there she meets the attractive Henri [Kevin Janssens]. For 45 minutes it is just sex and swimming with the occasional dejected look. Both Lin and Henri have 'daddy issues', but Koole gives us no reason to feel anything for these distant, superficially written characters. Unless you have already read the book of the same name by Oek de Jong, you wonder what you have been watching. Camera work and sound are excellent, but you don't get much out of it.

Well, juicy Flemish, not always easy to understand, that's nice, but why doesn't father speak Frisian? And those sentences, that doesn't really fit the rough car mechanic he has to portray.
Finally, that swimming. A hundred strokes. And then further, into the sea, that's beautiful, I once wrote a story about that myself, seems to me something to conclude.
But then with a nicer, more professional touch. So it's all a bit amateurish.
Nice film for a break from the harsh reality.
