Together with his best friend Mick [Oscar Aerts], Dylan [Juvat Westendorp] earns his money by ending relationships of others for a fee without creating a conflict situation. Client Sven [Kendrick Elmon] hires Dylan to break up with columnist Zoë [Holly Mae Brood]. Zoë is so bewildered by the turn of events that she asks her editor-in-chief [Birgit Schuurman] if she can write a column about the 'Break-Up Club'. For that, she is willing to shadow Dylan for a week. It is not that hard to guess where this is going, but Westendorp cleverly avoids the pitfall of the caricature and Elbert ensures that most of the cast holds back. A downside is the romance between Mick and photographer Lana [Sarah Bannier], who unfortunately do gossip a lot. But this home-grown romcom is at least enjoyable to watch.
