Gabriel Panski (Maximilian Brückner) has some making up to do in the village he left years ago in a huff and has now returned. After a disastrous rowing trip with fellow villagers, he goes on a drinking binge and blacks out. The next day, he receives compliments left and right without knowing what they're for. Police Commissioner Leonie Winter (Rosalie Thomass) investigates a gruesome murder that took place the previous night. Is there a connection between Gabriel and the murder? This strange mix of murder mystery and comedy isn't for everyone, despite the entertaining performances of Brückner and Thomass.
