Battle for the Western Front plot
"Victory is measured in inches."
The first World War. Canadian pilot Billy Bishop has achieved many successes and is considered the best pilot in the British Empire. Inspired by this hero, two young soldiers ended up on the front lines in August 1918. With the Allies pinned down, their platoon must desperately hold out alongside legendary Anishinaabe sniper Francis "Peggy" Pegahmagabow.

Good film, well-known history (misery!) well filmed, even though it was actually even worse: rain, mud, fog, diseases, rats... did not appear in the trenches in this film.
A good story, with a beginning: a recruitment call in a village square, saying goodbye and making promises to loved ones, going to the front, fighting and surviving, and (fortunately) winning as well.
Got the creeps from that high-ranking German officer, great acting!
I "enjoyed" it (maybe wrong choice of words?)
