Waitangi: What Really Happened plot

On February 6, 1840, the Treaty of Waitangi was signed between the British Crown and a large number of Maori chiefs. With the treaty, New Zealand officially becomes a British colony. Some chiefs refuse to sign and leave. Others do draw, either consciously or because they do not really understand what they are drawing. Some of the confusion is caused by the fact that the English and Maori versions of the treaty are not identical.
