Bed & Breakfast plot

When workaholic Sarah quits her job, much to her own shock, she no longer has any idea what to do with her life. She is persuaded to look after her aunt's B&B, but does so with appropriate reluctance. Because what should this city girl whose life depends on overtime, takeaway meals and Ubers between the chickens and the vegetable garden in a Groningen village? When Sarah meets not one, but even two potential lovers, not only the B&B, but also her heart fills with love.

A romcom from the Netherlands, that's a recipe for failure you would think. Still, I find this one funny, although it's probably mainly because of the extremely lame joke about the kiss between Langelaar and Aerts. And Jelka does play a part but actually gets far too little space.

Furthermore, there is a glaring lack of Groningen accent and behavior, or even a credible supermarket. It seems as if the makers have never actually been anywhere near it.
