The Oath plot

"A Redeeming Love. A Transcending Mission."

The warrior Moroni is the last Nephite after his people are wiped out by their sworn enemies, the Lamanites. His seclusion is interrupted by the wounded woman Bathsheba, the concubine of the Lamanite King Aaron. Despite their people's bloody history, Moroni and Bathsheba begin to bond as he nurses her back to health. However, Aaron wants his concubine back and sends the ruthless Cohor and the skilled archer Mahigana to track the pair down.

Take a few mountains, a forest, some water with waterfalls and a battery of make-up. Try to cram the popular scenes from The Gladiator into a movie and you have The Oath.

This was really not good!

2 points for the last quarter that was still somewhat doable. So you can also just fast forward the film.

It wasn't great for an action movie. It was incredibly slow, but we watched it through because we still wanted to know how it ended.
