"Let the hunt begin."
After a deadly threat from a radical militant group, a young couple goes on the run after abandoning their Christian missionary work in the Kalahari Desert. Just when they think they have escaped unscathed via a dodgy smuggler and his rickety old plane, disaster strikes when their plane takes a critical hit and crashes, leaving them stranded in a game reserve teeming with predators such as lions, leopards and hyenas . With injuries, fear, and the militants still in hot pursuit, the group of survivors are thrust into a brutal battle for survival amid threats both human and animal, in a harsh environment where only the strongest make it out alive.

Mediocre thriller. The story is simple and has few surprises. The effect is moderate. The build-up is still going well, but otherwise it is quite predictable. Except for the end, it's not really exciting anywhere. This is mainly because the threat is never really visible. Probably a budget issue. At the end the animals really come into focus, somewhat cleverly edited, which makes it quite exciting. Unfortunately, the climax, which literally and figuratively falls out of the sky, is a bit too disappointing. The acting is otherwise solid. 2.0/2.5

Mediocre work that has a nice first part, but gradually bogs down in monotonous scenes without any tension. Obviously it depends on the budget, but the director still misses opportunities. A lot of attention is paid to the beautiful landscapes and three well-known names are also brought together in terms of cast.... but spending some budget on fun action scenes is not an option. The mischief with the lions is always camouflaged and the viewer sees little or nothing of their attacks. And the final scene is very poorly developed with that lightning and the very accidental rescue. 5/10
