Dial M for Middlesbrough plot
Draper's Tours hostess Gemma Draper and her faithful bus driver Terry have to pick up Mildred and Hilda. These are on their way to a funeral in Middlesbrough. However, during a heavy thunderstorm, their bus breaks down. Now they are forced to take refuge in a sinister and dilapidated caravan park called Shady Creek Caravan Park. Here they meet a few special residents, but soon the visitors and residents die one by one.

Weak whodunnit vehicle from director Ed Bye, who apparently also managed to get a trilogy out of this. In any case, I will ignore the previous parts for the time being after seeing this rather poorly designed comedy event. Only the acting manages to make Dial M For Middlesbrough somewhat manageable, because when it comes to humor, horror or mystery, Bye has little to say. The murder case involves too little to actively participate in, the tension is built up very sloppily and the humor is very lame. The triviality with which the characters are portrayed does not make it any more fun to think along with the (scarce) hints. Once the revelations were made, I shrugged, just as I did throughout the rest of the proceedings.
