Buenas Chicas plot

Billie (Susan Radder) is a super ambitious junior lawyer with her heart on her sleeve. But after she botches an important case, she is in danger of being fired. To prevent this, she goes on a wine trip to sunny Spain with her best friends Allegra (Noël van Kleef) and Coosje (Britt Scholte). Billie's real goal? Keep her job by convincing Spanish-Dutch vintner Bruno (Juvat Westendorp) to give up his vineyard and sell his land to Billie's clients who want to build a golf resort there. Once in Spain, however, nothing goes as it should and to make matters worse, Billie's colleague and ex-lover Rogier (Thijs Boermans) also unexpectedly shows up on the doorstep.

I was at the premiere of Noel van Kleef's feature debut. Very nice movie. The story (and the men) don't have much to it, but the actors and actresses are all great. Beautiful images and a wonderful feel-good atmosphere and Noel steals the show! I hope there will be many more (main) roles to come!
