Nice movie among all the gay theme movies. Again this is a pretty depressing movie. Do homosexual men/boys never experience anything nice and make a movie about it?

In my life there is mostly joy, peace, sweet partner of 20 years, nature, humor, positive developments, swimming, running, cycling, walking, good food. You can also write a movie around that, right?

Or are today's gays only after sex, drugs, alcohol, drama, sadness, pain, etc. Then you'll have a good life.

Sorry, I digress.

The film has its good moments. The boy plays clever and daring. Certainly also compliments for the old sweeties in the film, how embarrassing that seems to me, if you watch this film again with your family/friends as an actor.

25-year-old Max [Ruaridh Mollica] is a journalist with a literary background. He is researching queer sex workers for an article and gets the opportunity to interview idol Bret Easton Ellis (author of 'American Psycho'). What his editor-in-chief [Lara Rossi] doesn't know is that Max is leading a double life as a sex worker under the pseudonym Sebastian and is processing his personal experiences in a manuscript. This double life forces Max to reconsider his own identity. Moreover, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep this double life a secret. Not only in the editorial office, but also from his clients. Mäkelä opens with a sex scene and there are unnecessarily many of them. Much more interesting are the contacts afterwards, especially the contrast between the businesslike Daniel [Ingvar Sigurdsson] and music professor Nicholas [Jonathan Hyde] who actually longs for affection and tenderness.
