It shouldn't always be easy to find your way in life under the yoke of your parent(s). On the other hand, it also seems logical to me that if you are financially dependent, there should be something in return. But you can't really call the relationship between mother and son warm.
I thought that hypnosis session was strange and the final scene shows what we were all waiting for. Drastic and effective, that is also a way to solve it.
A short with potential, but I don't really like Marco Bellocchio.
